Excursion to Sydney Olympic park

On Thursday 27th of August 2009 we went on a exciting excursion to Sydney Olymipic Park to the mangorove forest and the dry forest. When we got there we had recess. Then we played rolly polly. It made us dizzy. Then we went to a bridge to look for crab holes. Then we went on a board walk. It was narow. After we got to about half way along the walk we stopped and licked the salty leaves. They tasted very salty beacause the tide comes in every day.The tide comes in because of the moons movments. Then we finished the board walk .Next we went to a pond and tried to make frog calls. After that we went past the rangers base. There was a snake near there. Then we went to a dry forest. We used a magnifying glasses. We said 'it was fun.'
We had a great time and we wish we could go again another day!
